May 2, 2021- Quick Update

 Hey family-

I have a complete email list set up on my computer- not sure why it isn’t showing on my phone but since we don’t have internet in our apartment yet, I’m just sending a quick update to each family instead of individuals - hope that’s okay.

Wanted to let you know that we arrived as you have heard from dad. Lots of trees and green - like Virginia- makes navigation tricky because you can’t see anything beyond the trees. So there is some exploring to be done. But I do know that the closest stores to us are target, Walmart, kohl’s, dollar tree and Home Depot - so we should be able to get just about anything without going too far. But there is lots to be discovered. 
Our apartment is pretty decent size - 2 bedrooms which we are both grateful for after our first night here🥺 and plenty of room for company-so make plans. ️

We have decided that since we will be at the mission office everyday that will be the best place to receive mail. So our address for all things mail related will be:

The other senior couples in the office seem pretty nice - although we haven’t spent much time with them yet.   The office is fairly close quarters so hopefully it is all good.  Will keep you posted on that front 

Texts, emails, phone calls and FaceTime are always going to be things I look forward to— your support and encouragement and hearing your voice are important to me.
